— Tractorless Vineyard

At Tractorless Regenerative Agriculture, we work alongside Australian farmers to build natural, resilient, and profitable farming systems for the future. Our mission is to help farmers move away from industrial, high cost, chemical-driven agriculture and transition toward regenerative, low-input, high-output systems that support both the land and the people who work it.

Through a whole-farm approach, we focus on key areas like biodiversity, water and nutrient cycling, natural systems, and farm economics. Together, we design tailored plans that improve the health of the land, reduce costs, and ensure long-term productivity.

Whether you're just starting your regenerative journey or looking to take it to the next level, we’re here to support you with practical solutions that deliver real on-farm benefits.

For the past 15 years, Jeff Aston has dedicated himself to pioneering regenerative practices on his own vineyard, blending his expertise in winemaking with a deep commitment to sustainability. As the owner and operator of Tractorless Vineyard and Tractorless Regenerative Agriculture, Jeff has developed innovative techniques that enhance soil health, restore biodiversity, and integrate livestock to create resilient vineyard ecosystems.

His work extends beyond his own operations. As Head of R&D for the NSW Wine Association, Jeff leads groundbreaking research into regenerative viticulture, contributing to the development of best practices across the industry. His international experience includes seven years in Georgia, where he immersed himself in traditional winemaking methods at the birthplace of wine, and extensive roles with renowned wineries like Clonakilla, Pernod Ricard, and Chandon.

Jeff is passionate about shaping the future of viticulture by demonstrating how sustainable practices can produce exceptional wines while caring for the environment. His efforts position him as a leader in regenerative farming and a champion for a sustainable future in Australian wine.
